Bacon "Professional FF Special Grand Concert", 5-string banjo, Circa 1913
This beautiful banjo was the top of the Bacon line in 1913, and carries a "Forrest Dale VT" tag. It features fancy pearl inlays everywhere, a finely carved heel, pearl tuning knobs, and inlaid marquetry on the rim. The beautiful tone produced by the Bacon professional tone ring and resonator has made these banjos a favorite of players for many years. The Kershner taillpiece is original, and was only included on the highest grade Bacon banjos at this time.
