Jas. Morrison (unmarked) banjeaurine, Circa 1890
This is a curious instrument in that the neck is obviously a Jas. Morrison creation but the rim is very similar to those found on high-grade Bay State banjos made at the same time. Note the typical Morrison inlay pattern and the nice delicate marquetry and ivoroid trim on the inside of the rim.
