Gindlesberger harp guitar, Circa 1911

Gindlesberger was a luthier from Kansas City, MO.  When I purchased this behemoth I was told that it was made by Gindlesberger, but the guitar is unmarked and there is no way to know for sure.  This is a huge instrument (so big that I didn't want to take it off the wall to photograph it) with 12 harp strings to go along with the usual six guitar strings.  The guitar peghead is beautifully inlaid with pearl, in contrast to the rather crude construction of the rest of the instrument.  The nose and glasses are not original :>)
