Bacon & Day “Serenader Silver Bell” tenor banjo S/N 32225, Circa 1930’s
This is a later Silver Bell banjo, manufactured in Groton, Ct sometime in the 1930's. It features an engraved pearloid peghead overlay, a nicely inlaid ebony fingerboard, an "f-hole" flange, and a working knee mute.
